Face is a modified classic germanium Fuzz Face that is packed with additional features that allow you to fine tune your fuzz sound to an incredible degree.

Features:

  • Added Bias and Impedance controls

  • NOS Tungsram AC128 germanium transistors, specially selected for gain and leakage

  • Switchable pickup simulator with JFET input buffer, allows you to place the pedal anywhere in your signal chain

  • NOS Silver mica Miller caps, for smoothing highs and reducing sizzle (switchable)

  • Switchable fuzz range to select 2K (down, modded) or 1K (up, classic) Fuzz control resistance

  • Switchable transistor emitter resistor, for reducing first stage transistor gain

  • Switchable input caps, changes the cut level of higher frequencies, 3 options, includes NOS Sprague,IC, and Panasonic caps

  • Internal trimmers for supplied voltage to each transistor (labeled Q1 Bias and Q2 Shape)

  • Alpha pots and footswitch

  • Lumberg DC jack

  • NOS LED “red eye” lens

The Bias, Fuzz Range and Emitter Resistor controls are all very interactive with each other and can give you everything from smooth sustain to gated, spitty, chewed up texture.

Offered in a durable wedge enclosure with custom faceplate, limited to 10 pieces.
